Baked Pork Chops with Rice

Ingredients
6 Pork Chops
1 C. uncooked rice
3 C. hot water
1 tsp. salt
1 large onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 green pepper, sliced
1 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Brown pork chops on both sides in skillet.
- Mix rice, water, salt, pepper, onion, and undiluted soup in shallow 2 quart baking dish.
- Add sliced green pepper, then place pork chops on top of mixture.
- Cover with foil and bake in a 375 degree oven for 1 hour or until rice is tender.
