Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. carrots, sliced

  • 1 small green pepper, sliced

  • 1 medium white onion

  • 1 C. tomato soup

  • 1/2 C. salad oil

  • 3/4 C. vinegar

  • 1 C. sugar

  • 1 tsp. dry mustard

  • 1 tsp. worchestershire

Instructions

  1. Add carrots and dash of salt to water and cook until tender.
  2. Drain and cool.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and heat until sugar is dissolved.
  4. In a bowl, place a layer of carrots, a layer of peppers, and a layer of onions until all gone.  Pour warm sauce over and marinate in refrigerator for 10-12 hours.
