Ripe Tomato Relish
Eat and enjoy!
1 gallon cabbage, chopped fine
1/2 gallon onions chopped
1 gallon ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 dozen sweet peppers, chopped fine
2 or 3 strong peppers
1 C. Salt
1/2 gallon white vinegar
2 1/4 lb. white sugar
1 tbls. celery seed
- Mix first 6 ingredients and let stand 3 to 4 hours.
- Drain and add last 3 ingredients.
- Heat thoroughly and seal in pint jars as directed on your canner.
